The Full Story

Milk Blossom's journey began with an ice cream obsession. What started out with eating ice cream most weekends became a hobby once we were gifted a small ice cream machine for Christmas. With a strong desire to create something we loved, and new ideas about flavours, methods and ingredients coming in thick and fast, we couldn't stop making it. It tasted so good we began to make more and give it to family and friends who couldn't get enough. Soon, we built a loyal following of people who would return weekly to fill their freezers.

The passion grew for the sweet science and after some stressful evenings and sleepless nights trying to keep up with demand, we decided to increase capacity by buying a bigger, semi-industrial ice cream machine, built and shipped from Italy.

As demand grew further, with regular restocks at the local farm shop, we wanted to take the next step in the ice cream world. We built an ice cream cart ourselves, using it to sling scoops whenever we had the opportunity.

We took a hiatus to go travelling around the world for 18 months, creating the most amazing memories whilst also experiencing the best ice cream on offer. We also had the privilege of spending time in Ireland with Dae, a national ice cream brand, learning and experiencing what it takes to make ice cream and frozen treats on a national scale.

We came home from our travels and decided to focus on the one thing we truly love, ice cream! Now we travel around in our beautiful vintage van serving ice cream using the best quality ingredients, creating something that YOU deserve - a memorable, unique and tasty experience, whilst fulfilling our passion and dream.
